On August 5, 2007 at 2116 hours Station10 was dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle accident unknown on injuries. Rescue 10 and Squad 10 arrived on scene to find two vehicles involved one of which was in the ditch. This patient was trapped, and crews had to work to get the patient removed. Patient was removed and transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center as a Trama ALS patient. Chief Acree arrived on scene, assumed command and requested a second medic was called due to the trap and an additional two patients. Isle of Wight Medic 61 arrived and transported two patients from vehicle number two. Medic 61 transported both patients to Riverside Regional, and remaining units on scene cleared and returned to quarters without further incident. |
