| Franklin Patriot Day | ||||
Rescue 10, Brush 10 and Zone 10 participated in the 5th annual Franklin Patriot Day celebration in the Wal-mart parking lot in Franklin. Rescue 10 performed a vehicle extrication demonstration to the citizens. Rescue 10 came home with a 1st place trophy and Brush 10 and Zone 10 also came home with trophies. | Fine Line Health Cair and Concert | ||||
On Saturday May17th members of the Carrollton Fire Department Fire Corp participated in the Health Fair at Fine Lines Fitness Center located on Carrollton Blvd just down from the fire station. This was a Relay for Life Fundraiser. |

On April 25th the Firefighter John Paul Memory II Memorial Foundation held its second annual Golf Tournament. Members from Station 10 participated in the event and had a few members play in the tournament. March of Dimes Walk | |||
On April 25th Rescue 10 assisted Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office with an escort from the James River Bridge to the Crittenden Bridge on Route 17. Jimmy Ray Eagle 97.3, Kerry Fury Wavy TV 10, & Chris Jones House of Delegates were walking for the March of Dimes from Williamsburg to Norfolk. |

| Fire Prevention Week | ||||
On October 11th, members from Station 10 spent most of the morning and afternoon at Carrollton Public Library and Benn’s Church Preschool for Fire Prevention Activities. FF Chuck Mullen lectured to the kids on basic fire prevention activities while FF Albert Burckard demonstrated how to put on our Personnel Protective Equipment PPE aka. turnout gear. The kids at both locations were able to see the inside of Quint 10 and saw some of the equipment we used in action and how it works. |

| Franklin Patriot Day | ||||
On September 15th Quint 10, Rescue 10 and Brush 10 made the trip to Franklin for the Patriots Day Parade with 6 members. This years parade was dedicated to our own J.P Memory II who passed at this event last year while leading a vehicle rescue demonstration, as well as State Police, Trooper Hill who was struck by a motorist in South Hampton County two weeks after the event. | LODD Memorial Dedication | ||||
| On Sept. 9th 14 members of Station 10 manning E-10, Q-10, R-10, and S-10 went to the 9-11 memorial at the foot of the James River Bridge for the dedication of the Isle of Wight County Line of Duty Death memorial. This memorial recognizes the first responders in Isle of Wight County who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting their community. | Boy Scouts Nike Park | ||||
On June 21st, CVFD continued its tradition of “soaking” the Boy Scouts participating in the week long day camp at Carrollton Nike Park. Q-10 & T-10 provided over 200 scouts and staff with some afternoon refreshment by dumping T-10's 5500 gallons of water through Q-10's ladder. CVFD staff also provided EMS coverage during this week long event. More Photos |

| Carrsville Vol Fire Dept 50th Anniversary Event | ||||
On June 9th Quint 10 participated in Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department Station 20's 50th Anniversary event. The morning began with a parade and afterwards all participants displayed there apparatus. Quint 10 returned home with a 1st place ladder truck trophy. Full Story |

| Police Unity Tour | ||||
For a busy 20 minutes Station 10 hosted over 300 bicyclists, 60 support personnel and 50 motor vehicles participating in the annual police unity tour of Virginia. Cyclists from as far away as Florida & California were in the group. Out station was the second rest stop on a 2 ½ day “Tour d’Virginia” which started today in Portsmouth and ends noon Saturday in Washington DC. Station 10 assisted the hearty cyclists by providing much needed refreshment and other necessary facilities. More details |

| 1st Annual FF John Paul Memory II Golf Tournament | ||||
The First Annual Firefighter John Paul Memory II Golf Tournament was held Friday, April 27th. It was a great turnout even though the weather stopped the Tournament for about 30 minutes.
