American Legion Post 49 Honors Fire Department Lieutenant/EMT Daniel Vineyard
Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department Lieutenant/EMT Daniel Vineyard was honored Tuesday 4 February 2020 by American Legion Post 49 in Smithfield, Virginia. Each year this historic post, that has served veterans of all military services for more than 100 years, honors all first responders in Isle of Wight County by requesting each Emergency Service and Law Enforcement organization to nominate a representative member. Station-10 selected its own “Firefighter of the Year” Daniel Vineyard to represent all members of this volunteer first-response fire, rescue and emergency medical service agency. Congratulations Daniel Vineyard and thanks very much to the American Legion for recognizing and honoring all first responders in our county.
