Members from Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department partnered with neighboring Suffolk Fire and Rescue to conduct small boat operations training over the course of three days. Several members participated in classroom and hands on training to prepare for open water and flood water boat operations. The events included underway time on multiple platforms and cross-training with crews from each department. Carrollton crews followed up the joint training with nighttime underway and recovery training for several members.
