This morning around 1030, Carrollton volunteers were dispatched to an overturned dump truck on Benn’s Church Blvd in the area of Benn’s Grant. Squad 10, Medic 11 and Medic 10 responded. Units arrived to find a dump truck on its side with the driver entrapped. Access was quickly made, and the driver was removed and transported by Medic 10 to a local trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.

While on scene, Medic 11 was requested to respond to a medical call in the Smithfield district.
